Why Meghan McCain’s White Victimhood Tour Is Sorely Predictable
I have written way more than I should about Meghan McCain’s brand of white feminism. I have detailed how it’s replicated by her equally entitled comrades-in-conservatism, most notably Megyn Kelly, best known for her offensive argument in favor of the very racist practice of blackface. In true fashion for the industry’s highest-paid bigots, Kelly got herself booted off her morning show on NBC to the tune of $69 million left on her contract.
Meghan McCain managed to last a lot longer as the glorified conservative voice of the seasoned table, stationed at the iconic daytime TV staple The View. Her abrupt exit this past August was a predictably bitter end to a highly contentious tenure that was exacerbated by the privileged white woman who had nothing to lose.
Back in the day, I was a major fan of The View, and it’s not shocking that one of ABC’s most lucrative offerings, has enjoyed two decades of cemented success, thanks to the basic concept of sharing the views of esteemed minds, who are paid a lot of money to energetically foster debates that tackle viral issues of the moment.
