It’s that time of year when long-standing grinches, myself included, are forced to endure the savagery of the weeklong nonstop Christmas music in every genre imaginable.

2020 has been horrid, and attacks on the freeness of human interactions, includes limitations on movement and the mall hopping that can’t be tolerated because of the deadliness of COVID-19, and the disturbing data to prove how our worst days are ahead.

But if we can’t be tortured outside of our homes, we can be sure that TV ads and generic holiday-themed entertainment will be more than sufficient enough to inspire our gag reflexes.

Even when shit was normal, without the acute threats of an exiting president who’s plotting a coup, and a global pandemic that’s determined to wipe us out with the help of spoiled brats, who willfully ignore CDC guidelines, the holiday season was typically a lengthy, unbearable affair. …

Remember the good old days, when you could casually choose from a library of options for viewing and sit back without a care in the world? Didn’t it feel good to immerse yourself in enlightening content, that refills your pool of knowledge about notable events and the pioneers who activated currents of change?

This was my uninterrupted disposition until the fateful arrival of 2020, a brand new year ushering in a decade that started off terribly.

So much has transpired within the past few months that it’s hard to summon who that person was before a deadly virus became the gruesome reality that has killed more than 250,000 Americans and counting. Also, tragically displacing millions of unemployed heads of households, who have been criminally discarded by the same system they’ve spent all their lives sustaining for meager paychecks. …

America is presently embroiled in the shit show that most of us predicted, based on the glaring evidence supplied by the mad man in the House of Horrors, that has since been transformed into ground zero for COVID-19.

It wasn’t that long ago when Donald J. Trump rode down the escalator with Melania not far behind, to boisterously announce what Roger Stone and Steve Bannon successfully embedded into his pea-sized brain. The failed businessman, rolling in debt, was finally given permission to bulldoze his way into the highest office in the land.

Against all odds, and despite polluting the entire country with KKK-themed rallies, containing graphic language that offensively cursed out targeted groups that don’t fit the bigoted mindset of #MAGA, the New York-bred, real estate mogul and host of The Apprentice beat out Hillary Clinton with venomous thunder, that left the former First Lady and Secretary of State reeling for cover. …

While Trump remains unbothered about the dire state-of-affairs with COVID-19 ravaging a wearied nation, that’s begging him to concede, his wife, Melania, whose Be Best campaign has undergone several revisions, that have left the incoherent messaging blurry and forgettable, is allegedly one of the confidants, pushing the madman to end the madness.

From the outside, Melania Trump has spent the last four years of her husband’s disastrous regime, strutting in and out of the illustrious position that her predecessors successfully personalized and readily embraced with the grace and candor that has historically served them well.

CNN, the cable news network that Trump likes to dub “enemy of the people” and persistently mock for their bad ratings, recently unveiled a docuseries, celebrating First Ladies — past and present. Highlights include the beloved first-ever Black woman to moved into the House that slaves built, and the crowned queen of glam, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who stoically weathered the assassination of her husband, John F. …

Donald Trump is an exiting president, who will be remembered by historians as the worst to ever do it — now and forever. His Twitter feed is still a major source of fascination for the media and citizens alike, who seem to be in competition for who can readily dissect the meaning behind the never-ending madness.

Almost two weeks have passed since the most prolific and heated election season of our lifetime took centerstage. …

Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Sometime ago, it was announced that E!’s staple reality TV dynasty, Keeping Up With The Kardashians will be ending its reign after 20 seasons of curated familial drama, featuring the muse herself, Kim Kardashian as the Los Angeles socialite, who formerly worked as Brandy’s stylist, where she presumably had that fateful meeting with her client’s brother, Ray J.

The infamous sex tape could’ve been the scandal to end it all, which is comical when you consider how it pales in comparison to the real-time postings on social media, that even go as far as capturing an influencer’s miscarriage for those who may be wondering how that works. …

White evangelism created a monster. Image: Joyce Boghosian

We knew it would come to this, so the question isn’t how — it’s why.

This time four years ago, Donald J. Trump was riding high as a newly elected GOP supreme leader, who shockingly brought a brutal end to the political career of Hillary Clinton, who failed to capture the allegiance of white women feminists, who were most definitely NOT with her, as the dry slogan suggested.

It was the notoriously shifty real estate emperor of NYC , and applauded reality TV star, who seamlessly made his ascension to the highest office in the land with a little help from a pair of sketchy friends, who rely on a stylized format of criminality in order to get the job done. …

The election season from hell finally ended with popped bottles of champagne and blinding confetti for those of us who were holding our breaths, and almost losing our eyesights because of the relentless attachment to revised screens.

President-elect Joe Biden and the future Madam Vice President Kamala Harris have set the world alight with a hard fought victory that redefines the payback of all hands on deck in ways that will reverberate for generations to come.

Fireworks in London to celebrate America’s grand return to liberty for all

The remarkable thing about the harrowing race to save The White House from complete destruction was the astounding number of mostly white Americans, who cast their vote for a self-professed white nationalist, who among other things, was all but guaranteeing their potential deaths from COVID-19. …

The epic presidential race to claim The White House is tighter than my first and only weave installation, and that’s saying a whole lot when you consider how it took weeks for me to recover, but it was the late nineties, and things have since improved in the hair styling department.

But how do we make sense of the fierce competition between a former Vice President, Joe Biden, who stoically served two terms as the compliment to the first-ever Black president, Barack Obama, and a racist, egomaniacal, bullish imbecile, who bulldozed his way into the highest office in the land?

Donald Trump was able to defeat a former First Lady and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who was poised to become the first woman in history to win the office of the presidency, because of his infectious showmanship, as a reality TV star, and a celebrated real estate tycoon, dominating a society, that elaborately hosted his greed and entitlement. …

No, really…

More than 230,000 Americans have passed away from Covid-19, and that number is just the baseline of what has been recorded so far because we have to realize that there are more deaths that haven’t been recorded.

A lot of victims losing their lives during this historic season of a global pandemic, and the brutal repercussions stemming from how the Trump administration botched the response to an unprecedented national health crisis, are succumbing to life-threatening symptoms that are not directly related to the deadly virus.

It was recently confirmed that there is a rapid increase in the number of Americans who are developing an unhealthy dependency on alcohol. …
