Michaels garnered a wave of criticism for her highly insensitive comments that rudely raised the false alarm on Lizzo’s body size, despite the interviewer’s best intentions to steer the conversation towards body positivity. It was supposed to be all about acknowledging how celebrities like the “Truth Hurts” rapper and many more are willing to step up as budding examples of what it means to embrace what you got.
