The ignited controversy over the CDC’s bold statement regarding the mask mandate, that’s been in full effect for over a year, has been brewing ever since the announcement that gives the fully vaccinated permission to discard facial coverings and social distancing in public spaces, both indoors and outdoors with some exceptions.

This unexpected turn of events swiftly heightened activated debates about the bulletproof traits of vaccines, and whether or not it’s too soon to lift the lifesaving rules and regulations that have been in place long enough to provide a formidable shield, against a deadly virus that has so far killed more than 580,000 Americans and counting.

After months of submitting to temperature checks at the reception desk of my gym, it was interesting to walk in this morning, and not be greeted with the routine that’s meant to amplify the safety of patrons in high-functioning environments.

The sudden end to checking temperatures is the early indicator of what will be rolling out in the coming weeks, as a renewed country confidently steps into the post-COVID era with the sturdy armor of a growing number of vaccinated Americans, which promises to initiate a timely restoration to a scarred but triumphant society.
