End of the trashy era?
The scheduled and disgraceful exit of the Terrorizer-in-Chief is an abrupt switch to a non-combative climate that’s no longer held hostage by the erratic mood swings of an egomaniacal brute with deadly unpredictabilities.
One minute we were under siege by the unimaginable series of events that occurred at Capitol Hill, right after the “Save America” rally, incited by the Thug-in-Chief, who challenged his armed cultists to show “strength” and discard “weakness” in order to reverse his election loss — and weeks later we are under the bosom of the Comforter-in-Chief, who has hit the ground running.
Why does shit suddenly make sense?
Maybe it has a lot to do with the ceremonious return to law and order after the long season of normalized lawlessness garnered from the destructiveness of a menacing, incompetent oaf and seasoned gangster, whose rise to absolute power was enabled by the cowardly GOP, and devilishness of white evangelism.
The nation and the world took in the splendor of Inauguration Day with the pageantry of old traditions and modernized mechanisms, patriotically merged to produce an award-winning display of what “Celebrating America” really means in the scope of reclaiming what’s been tortured and torn, but still…
