It’s hard to believe that it was back in 2020 when the breaking news confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion had been shot. As details emerged about what went down that fateful night, things took an ominous turn as the pieces slowly came together to create even more confusion and chaos.

Megan and rapper Tory Lanez were riding in a car with another female passenger, heading back from a Hollywood night out at the home of “self-made billionaire” Kylie Jenner, when all hell broke loose. In the middle of the commotion, Megan is hit by two gun shots aimed at her foot and Tory Lanez is allegedly the perpetrator who fired the bullets during a heated back and forth that turned into a bloody assault.

We can’t forget the hectic scene in the aftermath of the shooting as viral clips captured an injured Black woman exiting the vehicle and limping with pain as she surrenders to the arriving police officers who arrest Tory Lanez, charging him with felony assault.

Two years later, and the debates about whether or not Megan is the real victim or a teary-eyed whiner who isn’t telling the whole truth about what happened the night she was shot continues to rage on with the familiar undertones of malice and utter…
