This is well-informed and makes a great argument. I appreciate both sides of the coin because I think it helps to accommodate different points of view. I happen to agree with Pelosi on this one.

I think the idea of impeachment is too irresistible to bypass, but when it comes to execution, there might be more to lose than gain. I’m all for allowing the asshole to finish out the term and then get what’s coming or for the evidence to prove beyond a doubt that impeachment is the only way forward.

But the concrete points you raise are also worth a serious look.
