Thank you so much for reading my work! As far as Shea Moisture and Carol’s Daughter go — I was never able to utilize their products so in my case — it felt like I wasn’t their targeted consumer in the first place.

A lot of these products — Miss Jessie’s included — claim to fit the texture of Black hair but in my experience they seem to cater to a “more refined texture” that doesn’t include mine — so if they’re opting to broaden their market — I guess it makes sense since they were already headed that way.
