I Want to Die for What You Believe In

I envy you. Your tongue spews out the truths that are founded on the truths that are not hidden but brilliantly bathed in the light that dims the witted bystanders who would rather dull the stream of acute consciousness.

I envy the assault of your soul that never wavers — even in the face of danger as the cascade of inquiries descend on your mission — that has been torn apart by the calvary of those who are not content with your offerings.

God! I want to die for what you believe in.

I need to see the airplay of the strikes that bombard the sky above me as the blood seeps quickly from my perforated liver. I need to understand the gasp for breath that envelops my senses as the soldiers of my escalating condition surround me with hidden faces. I want to comprehend the goals of the ones who seek the truth above all else — even as they accept the minefield of woes that have been set up for the sheer desire of wrecking havoc on those that dare — to dare.

So many like you and very few like me — tread into the waters of upheaval — in search of the daily manna that can feed thousands at a time without dying out. Jesus Christ knew of these things but I can’t talk to him because I don’t know where he is.

I know where you are and believe me — I am there. Right there by your side. All you need to do is draw me into the flying bullets and sword fights.

I need to die for what we believe in. Make it happen. Right away.
