…d that’ll be when the people will rise up against them (and by people I also mean the politicians). For now, they aren’t doing so ‘much’ damage — their terror is still quite far removed from the majority of people, so not so much a danger. Unfortunately, this is how things work for people to really take action against an evil force.
I used to think that way. I used to assuage my despair with the fact that they are “controlled” in the Northern region.
But Boko Haram is terrorizing the whole of Nigeria.
They are now considered the world’s deadliest terrorist group.
That declaration impacts the overall prospects for Nigeria — greatly.
And for those of us who have relatives living in the North — the danger is not so removed.
And for those who live there because they have to — they don’t deserve this endless nightmare.
