I think the complexities of relationships really begin to get exaggerated as we mature, and we discover how fragile these connectors are and why only a few pass the test.

I’m admitting the truth about how emotionally spent I am, which explains the need to minimize contact and only extend myself if it’s worth that effort.

If not, I am perfectly okay with just not having friends. Regular contacts sounds good to me!
