I think the best way is your way. You are clearly very involved and that genuine interest and adherence will direct you to where you need to be. It starts with empathy and the overall need to do good.

As women of color — we struggle to be understood and celebrated for reasons that are too layered for immediate dissection. That doesn’t mean that life doesn’t bequeath us with moments of joy and splendor.

It just means that we have to cry harder and shout louder to be heard and vindicated.

That being said — this is a time for unification — especially since we have a boorish, immoral bigot as president.

The tide is turning and I think the relevant conversations are being initiated on all fronts.

And that’s a great thing.
