I felt exactly the way you did until I moved to The States and matured into the relations between Black and White and noticed the breakdown.
The conversation is boring if it seem repetitive and pointless. But, when lives are being lost based on the actions of someone who convinces himself that he is shooting an adult when it’s really a 12-year-old kid with a toy gun — the conversation is elevated to an emergency that needs immediate attention.
There is no guideline — there is only the expectation that White America respect Black America without the chains of stereotypes and biases that cripple this erratic relationship.
Until that day comes — your boredom will persist.
