I appreciate it too. And writers should be compensated accordingly. I just think that the blogging platform has birthed tendencies that go against the grain of what writing is all about. It’s causing disruption due to the erratic algorithms and allegiance to click-bait.

I think the ailing industry will help revive what we’ve lost and it won’t be online publishing.
