Hi Sean,

I tend to stay far away from disagreements that don’t involve me directly. I just don’t have the time or mental capacity to engage in heated arguments with people I barely know.

I also don’t have the desire to police the actions or reactions of adults. I most definitely don’t want to delegate the narrative of a writer who feels confident enough to share his or her work with the public.

I write about what affects me and I explain why it does. Some agree and some disagree.

I pick my battles carefully when it comes to the subject of race. There are many resources at our disposal. If anyone needs to know more — all you have to do is explore the topic sufficiently.

And then apply your discovery accordingly.
