Happy Birthday! Every passing year is a blessing. I think of the ones that weren’t lucky enough to even make it to thirty. We’re conditioned to look at aging as something to avoid, but the alternative isn’t ideal, so I will take getting older any day of the week.

Plus, being here is a privilege, I mean when I look back at my younger years and all the stuff I conquered — it’s hard not to be enchanted by this thing called — life.
