Now what?
There’s no doubt that the stained legacy of Donald Trump is a carryover from more than four years ago, when rumblings of his proposed presidential run was greeted with LOLs and eye rolls, that very quickly turned into the disbelief and horror that stuck around for the dangerous rollercoaster ride.
“The King of New York” as he was affectionately dubbed was a cultural icon and reality TV star, who became the symbol of staggering prosperity and glitzy celebrity, which garners inclusion in popular rap verses, cameos in cult movies, and a posse of the rich and famous.
But once sinister hacks, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, got a hold of the real estate mogul, and began the process of molding him into the monstrous assault on a democracy, that was up for grabs at the end of the Obama years, Donald Trump evolved into his most basic self — the egomaniacal narcissist with a raging appetite for anything that centers his absolute power.
His controversial path to the highest office in the land began way before his primed announcement, as his archived tweets showcase with tons of references to Barack Obama’s shortcomings, as the first-ever Black president with an un-American name and a murky background that leaves doubt about the validity of his citizenship.
The launch of the birther conspiracy was the perfect stepping stone for the massive outreach to disenchanted white folks, who were buried under the grimness of their predicted diminishment, and starving for a white savior, who would miraculously appear in the rebirth of the white establishment.
Trump as a presidential candidate for the Republican Party was high on the audacity of his ordainment, which took him further than even he could’ve assumed with all his bravado and outlandishness.
White evangelism stepped up the furiousness of reviving unfiltered allegiance to white power, by empowering the newly-minted supreme leader to boldly campaign on the messaging of white supremacy, and the fervent denouncement of anything that threatens what can’t be challenged.
KKK-themed rallies became commonplace, as GOP’s number one man boisterously spewed out hateful rhetoric to the roaring crowd of racists, who couldn’t get enough of their superhero’s power play, as the woefully unqualified future Commander-in-Chief, who was privileged enough to bulldoze his way into the office that he was promising to massacre.
It didn’t take long for President Trump to unleash the traitorous mandate on behalf of those who wholly invested in a pathetic weakling, devoid of any principles and devastatingly immoral.
From the evils of the Muslim ban to the tragedy of the migrant crisis, circling back to architected immigration laws that would halt the entrance of dreamers from “shithole countries” a direct quote from White House sources, that was vehemently denied by cowardly Republicans, the Trump administration was outfitted with soldiers, armed and ready for war on behalf of #MAGA.
And then domestic terrorism hit Charlottesville, VA, in 2017, as white supremacists, emboldened by their supreme leader’s hijacking of America’s endearing narrative of “equality for all,” took to the streets for the “Unite the Right” rally and caused chaos and mayhem, injuring many and killing a young woman, Heather Heyer.
Trump’s presidential response to the horrifying event was the blueprint of his devotion to the religion of white supremacy, and how condemning the actions of white terrorists would severely damage his reputation and alienate him from worshippers who put him in office for a reason.
“There are very fine people, on both sides.”
That’s one of a plethora of damning quotes that will be assigned to the worst president to ever take the oath of office, but more importantly it’s the glaring proof of how Trump seamlessly commodified the ire of white supremacy, by weaponizing his illustrious station to normalize the criminality of whiteness at the expense of expendables.
Making America White Again was the greatest success of a rogue administration filled to the brim with racist henchmen, infusing questionable policies, aimed at securing the defeat of vulnerable communities, who had to suffer the dire consequences of accommodating the enabled wiles of a self-professed white nationalist.
With each passing year of his terrorizing regime, Trump became even more of an acute threat to our national security with highlighted episodes of mocking his own intelligence community, in favor of Vladimir Putin’s denial about Russia’s consequential interference in the 2016 elections, during their join news conference in Helsinki.
There was the dominance of the national narrative with the assistance of so-called press secretaries, who were paid to lie on demand, without flinching, and with the complete disregard for the honor of keeping the American people duly informed minus seasoned combativeness at the polluted podium.
Attacking the press corps for daring to do the job of holding a thuggish administration and its incompetent bulldog accountable, remained the constant friction that ended very badly.
Trump’s personal campaign against targeted mainstream media outlets, that staunchly rejected the white supremacist rulebook of Fox News, with his favored description “enemy of the people” going down in the history books in his honor, was an introduction to the authoritarianism that America, a former “world police” was supposedly immune from.
It’s only fitting that the bitterly vile end to an incredibly harmful presidency should feature the biblical series of events that took place on Jan. 6, right after the assembly of white supremacist from far and wide were given their marching orders, under the banner of “Save America,” a faux-movement inspired by the delusions of an exiting, lame duck president.
Donald Trump spent his entire presidency demonstrating the deadliness of white power, and his sobering defeat, solidifying his luck as a one-term loser, only exacerbated his lethality as a human grenade, who’s ready to detonate, in order to reinforce his omnipotence.
While affected anchors at notable news organizations replay the terrifying footage of white terrorists, vandalizing the interiors of the Capitol with accompanying commentary of how “unreal” it is to witness the violation, unfazed victims of systemic violence recognize those images for what they represent in Trump’s America, which was always America.
Donald Trump will be gone from the White House, but his reign of terror is just beginning.
Already, his viable replicants are rapidly occupying seats of power in the highest levels of government, and illustrating their profound sense of awareness as it pertains to uplifting white supremacy in the chambers of America’s heartbeat.
Congresswomen Lauren Boebart and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Colorado and Georgia respectfully are newbies, who’ve so far presented a rap sheet of offenses, ranging from illegally brandishing firearms and being suspended by Twitter for sharing disruptive content that breaks rules and policies.
Both women are QAnon cultists, and unwaveringly support their disgraced supreme leader, with almost daily tweets propelling the deadly lie of election fraud, and the promise to expose the truth of the same conspiracy theories that the now banned Thug-in-Chief was hooked on.
Boebart’s allegiance to white power has apparently led to the breaking news that she allegedly conspired with some of the insurrectionists by granting a tour of the Capitol, just days before the riots, but she has since denied those accusations.
It is rather interesting how well-equipped those armed bandits were for the execution of terrorism, that they miraculously survived, without a scratch from overwhelmed police officers on the scene.
Trump’s ability to package the durability of white supremacy for generations of white law makers to benefit from and implement will remain the national emergency that will force the FBI to ramp up efforts, in ways that resemble the hunt for Islamic militants.
The Biden/Harris administration will also have to contend with the escalated epidemic of racial strife, bolstered by the renegade attributes of a lawless Republican Party, that advanced and endorsed the illegalities of their supreme leader, to tragically redefine white America’s nefarious agenda for many years to come.
The remarkably brutish close to a white nationalist regime will not simply vanish into obscurity from the emergence of lifesaving mechanisms that will work diligently to right the wrongs of a gangster predecessor.
GOP leaders are already grooming and attracting mini-Trumps to spread around Congress and the Senate at lightening speed.
It appears that affiliations with active hate groups will not affect your eligibility for high-visible positions in government — the more the merrier, and the legacy of Trump will guarantee plenty more on the way.
Now what?
Now we hold our breaths and prepare for the worst, as the hovering residue of a menacing historical figure will flourish in the America he scarred for the prominence of white power — an incurable malignancy that Donald Trump revitalized for the privilege of his godly ascension.
