Dear Evangelicals, Practice What You Preach

Dear evangelicals, what’s the point of pledging allegiance to the God you refuse to serve, just to weaponize your belief system against those that you deem unworthy, and deserving of the hellfire that you claim will devour the ones who aren’t of noble birth via the canal of Anglo-Saxon heterosexuality?

At the risk of being brutally honest, we have to point to the evidence of how most of you desperately hide your “sinful” tendencies and end up being unceremoniously outed by the Lord himself, who seems to abhor the performance of hypocrisy under the roof that was erected in his name.

Case in point, disgraced evangelical pastor Ted Haggard, who tried and failed to juggle the double life of combining his pure as snow existence with the behind-the-scenes activitivies with the young men that he was publicly condemning to street massacres at the hands of soldiers of Christ.

When the scandal hit, the blows were catastrophically enlightening, as we were faced with the hollow shell of a man, who had been suffering from the burden of rejecting his most basic instincts in favor of the unsatisfactory option that forced him to hunt for pleasures outside his marital bed.
