It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached the one-year anniversary of the deadly helicopter crash that took the lives of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, two of her team mates and their parents, Alyssa, John and Keri Altobelli, Payton and Sarah Chester, and recruited girl’s basketball coach, Christina Mauser.

That fateful Sunday morning on January 26th, the group was headed to a basketball game at Bryant’s Mamba Sports Academy in Newbury Park where Gianna, Alyssa and Payton were scheduled to play a basketball game with both Bryant and Mauser coaching.

The weather conditions were not favorable for flying, due to heavy fog and low hanging clouds in the Los Angeles area, which was a far cry from the clear, sunny skies at the departure point of John Wayne Airport in Orange County. …

End of the trashy era?

The scheduled and disgraceful exit of the Terrorizer-in-Chief is an abrupt switch to a non-combative climate that’s no longer held hostage by the erratic mood swings of an egomaniacal brute with deadly unpredictabilities.

One minute we were under siege by the unimaginable series of events that occurred at Capitol Hill, right after the “Save America” rally, incited by the Thug-in-Chief, who challenged his armed cultists to show “strength” and discard “weakness” in order to reverse his election loss — and weeks later we are under the bosom of the Comforter-in-Chief, who has hit the ground running.

Why does shit suddenly make sense? …

Shit’s been crazy!

Let’s not downplay the freakishly amazing luck that has gotten us this far, despite a raging killer virus that has ended more than 400,000 lives and destabilized the functionality of millions of households in America.

And no, the measly $600 stimulus check from the federal government that took months and months of maddening negotiations will not be sufficient enough to minimize the damage done to the job market and ailing economy.

Many jobless Americans, who never imagined they would be dependent on unemployment benefits that prematurely ran out, just as the new year was upon us, are understandably morose about relentless destitution that can’t be overpowered by glaring signs that the worst is yet to come. …

Now what?

There’s no doubt that the stained legacy of Donald Trump is a carryover from more than four years ago, when rumblings of his proposed presidential run was greeted with LOLs and eye rolls, that very quickly turned into the disbelief and horror that stuck around for the dangerous rollercoaster ride.

“The King of New York” as he was affectionately dubbed was a cultural icon and reality TV star, who became the symbol of staggering prosperity and glitzy celebrity, which garners inclusion in popular rap verses, cameos in cult movies, and a posse of the rich and famous.

But once sinister hacks, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, got a hold of the real estate mogul, and began the process of molding him into the monstrous assault on a democracy, that was up for grabs at the end of the Obama years, Donald Trump evolved into his most basic self — the egomaniacal narcissist with a raging appetite for anything that centers his absolute power. …

Former President, Barack Obama, arguably the best to ever do it, was quite visible towards the end of what turned out be the most dramatic year of our lifetime, due to the sudden and tragic arrival of a global pandemic, coupled with a prolifically contentious election cycle.

Obama’s influence is still quite impressive, based on the national receptiveness to his much-needed rallying, on behalf of a close family friend and former White House second-in-command, who was groomed to be the formidable competitor capable of toppling the rogue regime of Donald Trump.

The high-visibility of the first-ever Black Commander-in-Chief, who blessed us with his historic two-term presidency, continued after the victory of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, with a press tour for his much-heralded memoir, “A Promised Land” where the celebrated author was featured on virtual late night talk shows and prominent podcasts. …

Let’s take a break from our brutal reality and dive into the make-believe world of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and the epic loss of Samantha Jones, a role that actress Kim Cattrall luxuriously embodied for six magnificent seasons, including the two feature films that would follow.

During it’s heralded run as one of HBO’s most prolific offering, Sex and the City, centered around the enduring friendship of four youngish women, stylishly juggling careers and complexities of romantic entanglements, against the stunning backdrop of the City. …

Impeachment or resignation be damned! The truth is that Donald Trump has won this war and the irrevocable damage will take forever to overcome because the potency of white supremacy has been reactivated, to levels that haven’t been duly acknowledged by policing agencies that are assigned to protect and serve.

Imagine the lethality of a diabolical terrorizer, who is unapologetically defensive about the vital role he played in orchestrating domestic terrorism, that descended on Capitol Hill a week ago, resulting in mayhem that overwhelmed unprepared and outnumbered police officers, and left five people dead.

Trump is able to retain his presidential privileges, including access to the nuclear codes, which has been reportedly rescinded, but who knows! He’s also capable of bestowing the Presidential Medal of Freedom to thuggish loyalists like Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan, who are both complicit in the unfolding nightmare that put the lives of vulnerable colleagues, in both parties at high risk. …

The horror show currently unfolding, merely days after Capitol Hill was under attack from white terrorists, who were revved up from intoxication that emanated at the venue of the Trump Crime Family’s “Save America” rally, anchored by a mainstay hoodlum, Rudy Giuliani, is a damning testament to what white supremacy can produce when left unchecked.

Donald Trump’s shockingly combative inaugural speech, minutes after he took the oath of office was the unnerving transparency that has been maintained throughout his godforsaken presidency. …

Republicans fed the beast of our nightmare

It’s hard to internalize the series of events that have tragically transpired within the last 24 hours, that began with pre-festivities courtesy of the Trump Crime Family in DC, not far from Capitol Hill, where the ceremonial certification of the 2020 election results was scheduled to commence.

More than a handful of traitorous Republicans led by the slimy Senator from Texas, Ted Cruz were prepared to defend their baseless objections in an effort to delay the confirmation of President-elect Joe Biden as the next Commander-in-Chief, who will take the oath of office on January 20th.

Donald Trump and his minions, including his mouthy idiot sons, Don Jr., Eric, and their equally vile partners-in-crime, Lara and Kimberly Guilfoyle, hijacked the nation’s capital on the morning of Jan. 6, with devious intentions to disrupt formal proceedings, and once again inflame the rhetoric of packaged conspiracy theories about a “rigged election” that must be contested by any means necessary. …

What’s unfolding at the State Capital is unfathomable. The Terror-in-Chief has struck again, and this time it’s beyond comprehension and doesn’t recall any ounce of reasonability.

Donald Trump is exiting the office of the presidency in the same manner that he hijacked it, for the sole purpose of advancing his nefarious pursuits with the full cooperation of the cowardly and vile GOP.

From the white terrorists who stormed Charlottesville, VA to the Black Lives Matter protests in DC, that turned violent in the summer of 2020 with deadly retaliation from law enforcement, as armed policeman didn’t hold back teargassing and spraying rubber bullets at unarmed peaceful protesters, some of whom were critically injured and even maimed — Trump’s presidency has been a national emergency from Day 1. …
